Client work, not a demo stack

Standout Studio is a bilingual Ottawa web studio. The proof is meetings, scoped proposals, iterations with clients, delivered sites, and early paid work.

Discovery

Hear what the client asks for, then find the real job behind the request.

Scope

Budget, timeline, and what we refuse so the site can ship cleanly.

Iterate

Proposals, feedback rounds, and design/dev changes until it fits.

Deliver

Launch the site and keep it alive with clear ownership after handoff.

Why the studio exists

Freelancers and local businesses need a clear first impression online, not a template dump. The work is understanding the person, then shipping a site they can own.

What we aim to leave them with
Standout Studio
Partner, not ticket shopFewer clients, clearer scope, and care after launch beat racing through one-off builds.
Bilingual by defaultOttawa work often needs EN/FR. We design the content model for both, not as an afterthought.
Honesty on stageEarly revenue is real and modest (~$3K so far). That is enough proof of delivery without dressing it up as ARR.

How client work actually moved

Discovery → proposal → feedback → build → launch. My role sits across product framing, web delivery, and iteration with the client.

01

Hear the real job

Clients rarely need every page they list. Meetings surface the offer, audience, and constraint that matter.

02

Propose and simplify

Scope budget and timeline. Refuse extras that would delay a clean first launch.

03

Iterate in the open

Share proposals, take feedback, and change the design until the client can defend the result.

04

Ship and stay reachable

Deliver the live site. Keep ownership clear so the first impression does not rot after handoff.
